SUGAR FREE CHOCOLATE TREATS
Carrie loves to cook and, for that, we are grateful. Quite a few of us at Stuck on You® HQ are sugar-free at the moment and that means constantly looking for yummy snacks that distract you from your sugar cravings. Today Carrie brought in these deliciously nutty, yummy chocolatey treats and shared them with us all. DELICIOUS and packed with protein goodness!
So many people asked her for the recipe that we thought we would share it with you too.
1 cup dry roasted almonds
1 cup merjool dates (you can find these in the organic section of supermarket)
1 handful chia seeds
1 handful dessicated coconut
2 – 3 tablespoons coconut oil
⅓ cup cacao
Blitz almonds, chia and coconut in food processor. Add dates, cacao and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.
Roll in dessicated coconut and refrigerate.
Be amazed that something so YUMMY could really be sugar free.
