Ode to the Manhattan Tee (aka my Maternity uniform)

Blossom and Glow

Today is hot. Like, really hot. I just spilled coffee all over myself. My shoes are soggy. My hair is frizzy. I’m pregnant. And I’ve just run out of snacks. Yep, it’s one of those days.

However, in the midst of the madness I’ve looked down at my poor, milk-stained T-shirt and thought… I’ve never loved an item of clothing as much as I love this T-shirt.

Has she gone mad, you ask? It’s just a T-shirt! Ah, but that’s where you’re wrong, my lovelies. It’s not just any T-shirt. It’s the Manhattan Tee (pause for effect).

This is not me. She's gorgeous. But this is how I feel when I wear my Manhattan Tee. (Image: Blossom & Glow)

Many of you will be slowly, smugly nodding your head in agreement. Others won’t even be reading this blog anymore – you’ll already be Googling it. Good for you. The Manhattan Tee is a revelation in style and comfort. It’s a wardrobe staple. I alternate between navy, black, white, grey.. and don’t even get me started on the stripes. It’s pure perfection. I can’t describe how much I love my Manhattan Tee. Actually, that’s a lie. I can. But I need to do it in song:

Ode to the Manhattan Tee

The Manhattan Tee can do it all

I’m 8mths pregnant…and still in Small!

There’s stripes, there’s plain and a pocket to boot

There’s no bodyshape on earth it will not suit.

It never needs ironing, and won’t ever pill

Chuck straight in the machine if you suffer a spill.

I might sound insane, I might sound obsessed

But the Manhattan Tee is simply the best
